Job Exposure Index (jobexposureindex.com) is a small independent website and newsletter about how AI affects jobs, run from the Netherlands. This page explains what personal data we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Questions: report@jobexposureindex.com.
What we collect
- Your email address, only if you sign up for the weekly report. We use it to send the newsletter and nothing else.
- Basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type, which our hosting provider processes briefly to serve and protect the site.
We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this site today, and we never sell or rent your data. If we add advertising later, we'll update this page and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Who processes it for us
- Kit (kit.com) stores newsletter subscribers and sends the emails.
- Cloudflare hosts the website.
- Google Fonts serves the fonts, so your browser connects to Google when a page loads.
Some of these companies are based in the United States. They transfer data under the safeguards required by EU law.
Legal basis and how long we keep it
We send the newsletter because you asked for it (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every email, and your address is then removed from our active list. Hosting logs are kept only as long as Cloudflare needs them for security.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email report@jobexposureindex.com and we'll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
